Warranty Terms
| Custom Trading Computers, Inc. warrants that the hardware components will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. We do not outsource our warranty to third party companies that really don't care to help you. Our warranty covers parts, labor and shipping as a result of a defective part. We also handle our own technical support for our computer systems hardware, assembly and setup. Warranty Length Your warranty and return policy begins on the printed date of your sales receipt which is the date that we receive payment for the product. The computers come with a 30 Day Guarantee and a 1 year or 2 year or 3 year warranty which is available for purchase with any system. The 30 Day Guarantee is included in the 1 year, 2 year and 3 year warranties at no additional cost. Replacement Parts All replacement parts require an RMA (return merchandise authorization) number from Custom Trading Computers, Inc. prior to shipping out any defective parts to us. We will issue the RMA number to you via e-mail once we approve the return. If we find that a part is defective, and you are capable of swapping out the part yourself, we will send a replacement part out to you. The replacement part will include a return shipping label so you can return the defective part to us at no cost to you. If the defective part is not shipped back to Custom Trading Computers, Inc. within 7 days, you will pay the full cost of the component via credit card which we require prior to shipping out the replacement part. Custom Trading Computers, Inc. is not responsible for any damages stemming from improper installation of the new part. It is your responsibility to know how to safely work with the hardware you are replacing, and if you do not have that knowledge or experience, you should not attempt to swap out a part on your own. We will be available to walk you through installing the replacement component; however, it is your responsibility to know how to safely work with hardware you are handling. If you are not capable or do not have the confidence in swapping out a component yourself, or you have consulted with Custom Trading Computers, Inc. without a definite cause of problem, you may take your machine to a local computer shop for repair. Custom Trading Computers, Inc. will pay up to 50% of the labor portion of the bill that is presented to you, up to $50 per incident. We require the receipt from the computer shop to verify the work that was done prior to mailing you a check. There will never be any software RMA's issued due to the license agreements of each piece of software. Custom Trading Computers, Inc. is not responsible if you mis-use or misplace your original CD's or key codes. Shipping Caused Damages Shipping damages can occur, regardless of how much stuffing or padding the computer shipped box may have. If there is major shipping damage (the computer will not even function), then please notify us immediately (within 48 hours). We will contact the shipping carrier for insurance and/or claim purposes. Depending on the severity of the damage and insurance/claim turnaround time, we may send out a replacement computer system as soon as possible to you and will have you ship the computer system back to us. We will pay for all shipping costs related with cross shipping. If you fail to contact us within 48 hours after receiving a damaged shipment, the system and contents are your full responsibility.
